Alijah Arenas' mom Laura Govan shares how the CFP National Championship game between Ohio State and Notre Dame was "stressing" her
Former reality show star Laura Govan may be following basketball more because all four of her kids are rising stars in the game, but she does follow football too, particularly college football.
This was evident from one of her Instagram Stories on Monday where she posted about getting stressed by the CFP National Championship game between Ohio State and Notre Dame.
"This Football Game is stressing me out. #OhioState," she wrote on her Instagram Stories caption.
While she was getting stressed by the contest, the No. 6-ranked Ohio State got away with a big 34-23 victory over the No. 5-ranked Notre Dame at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This is now the Buckeyes' ninth national championship for football in the school's history.
The Fighting Irish scored the first drive of the game and may have stressed out a lot of Ohio State supporters. However, the Buckeyes scored 31 unanswered points, which gave them a commanding lead. Notre Dame did try to mount a comeback, but it was too late as the Buckeyes are national champions once again.
Soon after the CFP National Championship game, Laura Govan was back to her usual self and was back posting about her kids' achievements in basketball.
In particular, she posted about her youngest daughter, Hamiley Arenas, who plays for a different Notre Dame, one in California. Hamiley dropped 30 points in that game, which Govan proudly pointed out on Instagram.
Laura Govan talks about LeBron James' agent coming to see her son, Alijah Arenas play
Meanwhile, Laura Govan's eldest son, Alijah Arenas, made waves on Friday when none other than famous sports agent Rich Paul, who represents LeBron James, dropped by to see him play. Govan reacted on her Instagram Stories and hinted at why Paul was there.
"Look at who came to see my baby play @alijah0arenas. If you know then you know!" she said on a now-expired Instagram story.
Alijah Arenas and his team, Chatsworth, faced El Camino Real during that game, and he dropped 22 points to lead his school to a 72-51 victory. He was later seen being introduced by Paul to LA Clippers coach Tyronn Lue.
Arenas has re-classified to the Class of 2025, which means that he will be playing college ball next season. With Rich Paul possibly representing him, the five-star guard may get some better deals.
It may also lead to a possible team-up between Alijah and fellow NBA son, Bryce James, at Arizona, the alma mater of his father, Gilbert Arenas. It is the favorite to land the commitment of Arenas.
