Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony drops new colorways for his clothing brand during a New York photoshoot

Kiyan Anthony, son of NBA icon Carmelo Anthony, is making waves beyond the basketball court, particularly with his growing fashion brand, One Way. During a recent photoshoot in New York, Kiyan introduced fresh colorways, including an unreleased chocolate version.

Alongside fellow basketball player and One Way co-owner Jadyn Defense, Kiyan Anthony showcased the brand's vibrant new offerings in a lively shoot shown on an Overtime YouTube video.

"Back in New York, we got a photo shoot for One Way, and my man Zayden bought out the vlog camera. today we'll be having a photo shoot for the brand. I got the unreleased chocolate color way on my body."

Kiyan’s focus on One Way extends beyond clothing, aiming to create a full lifestyle brand.

"After the game I linked up with my boy Jaden to go over the brand One Way it's a clothing brand but we're really trying to promote a whole lifestyle not just clothes," he shared on Overtime Episode 6 on Sept 3.
"The end goal is to open up a whole store and everything like we are trying to take it to the next level."

His father, Carmelo, expressed pride in his son’s entrepreneurial spirit, remarking on the September 14 episode of Overtime,

"I'm proud of him that he took it upon himself to set a little business up for him and not wait for me or his mom to set it up. It's like he's doing himself."

This dedication has helped One Way grow, leading to exciting partnerships like last month’s collaboration with New York-based sneaker brand Got Sole.

Kiyan Anthony navigates the recruitment process with Syracuse as a top contender

Kiyan Anthony, a four-star recruit ranked No. 36 in the 2025 ESPN 100, is in the spotlight as he navigates his college recruitment process. Among his potential destinations is Syracuse, where his father, Carmelo Anthony, left a lasting legacy by leading the Orange to an NCAA championship in 2003.

Despite the strong connection, Kiyan Anthony revealed that his father has never pressured him to follow the same path.

"He never pushes me to go to Syracuse just because his name is on the gym," Anthony told ESPN. "He did so much at Syracuse. He knows that I'm my own person. I've just got to make my own decision at the end of the day."

While Kiyan frequently visits Syracuse to practice and train, he made it clear that Carmelo’s influence is not a deciding factor.

“He’s not going to make me follow in his footsteps unless I really want to,” Kiyan explained.

Although many fans expect him to follow in his father’s footsteps, Kiyan is still carefully weighing his options.

"Even though I know basically the whole world wants me to go to Syracuse, I still haven't made the decision yet and I still have to talk to the coaches some more and really get into detail -- like what other players are coming, how they want me to play, how I'll be coached and stuff like that," Anthony said.

In addition to Syracuse, Kiyan Anthony is considering Auburn, USC, Florida State, Ohio State, and Rutgers, with a final decision expected in the next two months.
