NBA legend Carmelo Anthony's son, Kiyan Anthony, has received an offer from USC. Kiyan plays for Long Island Lutheran in Glen Head, New York, and competes with Team Melo in the AAU Basketball Program.

As he weighs his options, Kiyan also considers visits to Ohio State, Auburn, Rutgers, and a return visit to Syracuse. Notably, he has already visited Florida State and Syracuse, according to 247 Sports.

The possibility of Kiyan joining USC has sparked debate among college basketball fans, with reactions ranging from enthusiastic pleas to cautionary advice.

If Kiyan Anthony decides to join USC, he would follow in the footsteps of other notable NBA progeny like D.J. Rodman, son of Dennis Rodman, and Bronny James, son of LeBron James, who recently played for the Trojans.

Kiyan Anthony draws interest from multiple college teams

Kiyan Anthony is actively exploring his college options. As his recruitment intensifies, Kiyan is planning visits to Ohio State, Auburn, USC, and Rutgers, with a potential return trip to Syracuse, his father's alma mater, per On3's Joe Tipton.

Recently, Kiyan Anthony has also drawn interest from Arkansas, where John Calipari was hired as head coach in April. Also, as he is reportedly planning to visit USC.

"Coach Musselman reached out to me when I was in Vegas. Coach Pondexter, who played against my dad, also shows a lot of love. I'm waiting for them to offer so I can visit California," he said.

Anthony has received offers from numerous top-tier programs, including Ohio State, Florida State, UCF, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Maryland, Dayton, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Seton Hall, and Syracuse.

Per On3, Kiyan aims to narrow his list by the end of July, hoping to make a final decision in October or November before his senior year.
