"Congrats to Brady. Michigan did him dirty": Fans react to 4-star QB Brady Hart's flips from Michigan to Texas A&M following Bryce Underwood's move
Bryce Underwood's flip to Michigan has many in the state celebrating as the Wolverines may soon have the quarterback they always wanted. However, one person who was not happy with the move was four-star quarterback Brady Hart, who flipped from Michigan and told On3 Recruits that he is committing to Texas A&M on Friday.
Hart is the No. 27 ranked quarterback in the class of 2027, ranked No. 391 nationally and the No. 55 overall in Florida. Many believed he was ignored by many in Michigan, who were laser-focused on flipping Bryce Underwood, who was ranked No. 1 nationally and the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 1 player in Michigan.
This flip has gotten fans talking, as many felt he deserved better than being mostly ignored by the school he previously committed to.
"Congrats to Brady. Michigan did him dirty but that’s the new norm in today’s day and age," one fan said.
"He was supposed to be next Tom Brady Disgusting how Michigan treated him," another fan said.
"Brady Hart is very good player, but a business decision had to be made after Bryce Underwood committed to Michigan. @AggieFootball is getting a good one for sure," one fan said.
Meanwhile, Aggies fans were just expressing their happiness after getting their newest commit, who promised he would sign with Texas A&M on Dec. 4.
"Solid commitment! Life is good when Texas & Aggy are both good! 🤘🏽." one Aggies fan said.
"Best of luck to Hart No one is surprised or blaming him for this." another fan said.
"Best of luck kid," one fan said.
Hart also reportedly considered committing to LSU, which was the very school that Bryce Underwood flipped from. The five-star quarterback was lured by Michigan with several incentives, from being mentored by Michigan alum Tom Brady to a multi-million dollar NIL deal.
Bryce Underwood gets advice from former Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy
With Bryce Underwood already locking in his commitment to Michigan, former Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy, who led the Wolverines to a national championship, was reportedly texting the No. 1 ranked 2025 quarterback.
In his texts to Underwood, McCarthy reportedly told the high school star to "embrace challenges and push through discomfort" and was reportedly using his own experience as a college player to give that advice.
This revelation came from McCarthy himself, which means that Underwood is not just getting mentored by one of the greatest quarterbacks in history, Tom Brady, but also one of Michigan's greatest quarterbacks, JJ McCarthy.
