Dabo Swinney's "no-visit policy" causes Clemson to lose commitment of four-star CB Graceson Littleton
Four-star cornerback Graceson Littleton decommitted from Clemson's 2025 class on Friday. He joins defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell, offensive lineman Jaylan Beckley, quarterback Blake Hebert and edge rusher Bryce Davis, who have all decommitted from Clemson this cycle.
Littleton chose Dabo Swinney's program back on June 5 over programs like Oklahoma, Alabama, Penn State and Florida, among others. At the time of his commitment, he expressed admiration for the unique qualities of the Tigers, saying (via TCI):
“They really believe in the guys they have, they’re a developmental program obviously, they don’t use the transfer portal. I think it’s a one of one program really in today’s college football. Just the way they operate, the coaching staff. I feel like they can develop me and bring the best out in me. I’m excited for the future.”
Swinney maintains a strict no-visit policy for his committed recruits to maintain loyalty within his program. However, Graceson Littleton has opted to explore his options before the Early Signing Day, which ultimately led to his decommitment from the program.
The standout prospect from Wiregrass Ranch High School in Tampa, Florida, was one of the top performers at Overtime’s OT7 Finals event this summer. His decommitment dropped Clemson's 2025 cycle's total commitment to 13, and its ranking also dropped from No. 17 nationally to No. 22, according to 247 Sports.
Littleton was the only cornerback committed in the class, which now has just one defensive back committed, four-star safety Tae Harris. However, Swinney and his coaching staff still have a lot of momentum in this class, as four-star interior offensive lineman Gavin Blanchard flipped from UCF to Clemson earlier on Friday. The school is also predicted to land four-star safety Jordan Young.
Graceson Littleton sets Michigan visit following his Clemson decommitment
According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Graceson Littleton has set plans to visit Michigan, where he will attend the Wolverines' matchup against Oregon.
Michigan’s 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 10 in the nation, featuring 18 commitments, many of whom are four-star recruits, along with five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola. Littleton’s potential addition would boost this impressive class, which features two cornerbacks as of now.
Littleton received an offer from Texas this week, and a trip to Austin could soon follow.
