DeShaun Foster's UCLA receive commitments from twin brothers Kennan Pula and Jaron Pula to the Class of 2026: Report

UCLA football received a double boost for the future with the commitments of twin wide receivers Kennan and Jaron Pula to its 2026 recruiting class. This news comes just ahead of the Bruins' Oct. 5 showdown against Penn State and after a disappointing 1-3 start to the season featuring a winless record in Big Ten play.

Kennan and Jaron Pula, both three-star prospects, announced their commitment to DeShaun Foster's program following an unofficial visit during the team’s matchup against Oregon. Though the Bruins lost 34-13, the twins felt drawn to the program’s coaching staff and vision for the future.

“We just love the whole coaching staff and how much love and attention they’ve been showing us from the start,” Jaron told On3. “At UCLA, it just feels like home and we see our future there.”

Kennan, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound wide receiver, is ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 343 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 51 wide receiver in the 2026 class. He is also the seventh-best recruit in Utah.

Meanwhile, Jaron, a 6-foot-1 and 180-pound receiver, is ranked as the No. 366 overall prospect, the No. 57 wide receiver in the class and the eighth-best recruit in Utah.

Kennan Pula and Jaron Pula happy to jointly commit to UCLA

Kennan and Jaron Pula attend Timpview High School in Utah. The two have been inseparable both on and off the field, sharing their recruitment experience just as they did their childhood.

Their decision to stick together was a topic of much discussion between the brothers, but they eventually made the choice to attend college side by side.

“It means a lot for us to stay together,” Kennan told On3. “We come in a package deal. My brother and I would talk about if we would stay together when we go to college. Jaron said yes and I said no. It looks like he was right. When we announced together that we were committing to coach Foster, it was the best feeling.”

The Pula twins’ commitment adds to UCLA’s already solid start to its 2026 recruiting class, which ranks No. 13 in the nation. They join wide receiver Jonah Smith, who committed earlier in March.

UCLA also remains in the mix for multiple prospects in the 2026 class, including running back Brian Bonner, edge rusher Anthony Jones, defensive lineman David Schwerzel, linebacker Talanoa Ili, running back Deshonne Redeaux and defensive lineman Joseph Peko, among others.
