AJ Dybantsa keeps stealing the spotlight with his incredible performances, and his latest display at the Iverson Classic was no exception. The 17-year-old BYU signee scored 31 points, leading Utah Prep to a hard-fought 78-73 victory over the Patrick School Celtics (New Jersey) on Friday.

The highlights of Dybantsa’s performance were shared by "MadeHoops" on Instagram, with the post captioned:

“AJ Dybantsa just went STUPID at the Iverson Classic and led his Utah Prep squad to a W 🥶🔥.”

One of the many who took notice was former NBA player Jamal Crawford, who couldn’t hide his reaction. Crawford commented with three angry-face emojis, a clear nod to Dybantsa's dominance.

The youngster was indeed dominant on the court. The video showed the 6-foot-9 phenom scoring at will, slicing through defenders with ease and using his athleticism to finish in the paint.

AJ Dybantsa Has Everything Planned to Make It to the Basketball Hall of Fame

AJ Dybantsa, headed to join the Cougars next year, doesn't seem to be just aiming for success but to carve a legacy of his own. The Utah Prep standout revealed his mindset heading into the new year, sharing what he wants to leave behind and what he plans to embrace in 2025 in an Instagram video posted on Monday on the "NBAFutureStartsNow" handle.

"I'm going to try to leave techs out," Dybantsa said. "What I'm bringing in: more wins, more wins, and more wins.”

This determination paired with his extraordinary skills reflects his readiness to take on every challenge that comes his way. However, Dybantsa's ultimate objective goes beyond winning games alone—it's about making his way to the Basketball Hall of Fame. Interestingly, the 17-year-old seems to have worked out how he is going to achieve his goal.

In an appearance on Stephen A. Smith's YouTube show last month, Dybantsa, joined by his father, laid out his ambitious three-step plan to reach the Hall of Fame.

"I mean, it's just a blessing, but it's only one step closer," Dybantsa said (42:21). "I told my dad it's a three-step process. This is only step one. The draft will be step two, and the Hall of Fame speech is step three.”

This bold declaration highlights Dybantsa’s clarity of purpose and his will to achieve it. The standout shooting guard is now joined by fellow Cougars signee Xavion Staton at Utah Prep. Together, they make the school one of the strongest teams in high school. They will be up against DME Academy on Jan. 12, and as always, fans will expect another explosive performance from AJ Dybantsa.
