St. Ignatius offensive lineman Will Conroy, from Cleveland, Ohio, is one of the most promising prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. He has already received offers from dozens of programs, including Ohio State, Oregon, Miami, Oklahoma, Purdue, Michigan State, Boston College and Arizona State.

On Monday, Conroy revealed his top five programs, which feature Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, Michigan and Arizona State. The Wolverines are the latest to extend an offer, doing so on April 6.

Conroy visited Michigan for a spring practice, where he and his family spent considerable time with offensive line coach Grant Newsome.

“Michigan has been done everything right," Will Conroy told On3. "They offered me and have been with me through every step of the process. Coach Newsome has been amazing.”

Miami is the first program among Will Conroy's top five to offer him on Oct. 13 of last year. He has developed a strong bond with Hurricanes offensive line coach Alex Mirabal.

“The relationship that Miami has established with me has been awesome," Conroy said. "Coach Mirabal and the staff have been amazing to me and my family.”

Florida entered the fray on Nov. 9, while Arizona State and Oklahoma extended their offers on Feb. 9 and March 6, respectively.

According to On3, Will Conroy is ranked as the No. 18 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class and the No. 14 prospect in Ohio. 247Sports lists him as the No. 16 interior offensive lineman in his class and also the No. 14 prospect in Ohio.

Ohio State and Oregon trending despite exclusion from Will Conroy's top 5 list

Ohio State offered Will Conroy on Jan. 20, and the significance of the offer was not lost on him. Growing up in Ohio, playing for the Buckeyes has always been a dream.

“I’ve gotten a lot of other offers before, but this one was a little more special,” Conroy told Eleven Warriors. “Growing up in Ohio, every Ohio kid’s dream is to play in The Shoe and beat the team up north. Being here and them wanting me is truly something special.”

Conroy first visited OSU as a recruit in September last year and has been on campus several times since. Although he did not camp at Ohio State this June, he attended a spring practice and is expected to return for a gameday visit this fall.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives Ohio State a 40% chance of securing his commitment. As of now, the Buckeyes' 2026 class only includes Chris Henry Jr.

Oregon has also caught Will Conroy's interest, despite not being on his final list. He has visited the program multiple times, including attending a game last fall and the spring game.

“From the top to bottom the leadership is elite,” Conroy told On3. “Obviously the facilities are top notch but the atmosphere in Autzen Stadium. They were so loud even on the field. Plus Oregon is a beautiful place.”

The Ducks are currently leading in the race for Conroy's pledge, with a 57% chance, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Oregon's 2026 class already features four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland.
