Four-star Ole Miss EDGE commit Talib Graham confirms receiving offer from Deion Sanders' Colorado to the Class of 2025
Four-star edge rusher Talib Graham's football journey began at just 8 years old, when he played for Kenny King's youth team in Arizona. Now, he has become one of the most highly-touted prospects in the 2025 class.
He has remained committed to Ole Miss since April, but colleges continue to reach out in hopes of flipping his decision.
Deion Sanders' Colorado extended an offer to Graham on Tuesday. The 6-foot-2, 235-pound prospect confirmed the offer news on X, tagging Sanders, running back coach Gary Harrell and linebacker coach Andre Hart:
"I’m blessed to receive an offer from the University of Colorado 🏈 @CUBuffsfootball @DeionSanders @CoachFleaBUFFS @CoachHartCU @warrensapp @JourdanBlake_ @Coach_Fella23 @CUBarstool @DNVR_Buffs @rivals @on3sports @daphnefbtrojans @AL7Afootball @apeathletes @adamcm777 @BrianHowell33 @DNVR_Buffs @CUSportsnation @CUBuffs
@CUBarstool @barstoolsports."
This is another bold move by Colorado, as Sanders and his coaching staff have consistently shown their ability to attract top talent to the program. Their recruitment efforts have been aggressive, especially in their pursuit of committed prospects.
Last month, the Buffaloes managed to flip four-star defensive back Antonio Branch Jr. from the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Colorado’s recruitment efforts have also extended to other big names in the 2025 class. This includes the USC Trojans quarterback commit Julian Lewis, though momentum seems to be shifting away from Colorado in that particular race.
Still, the Buffaloes are targeting other top talents like four-star offensive tackle Carde Smith, who is also committed to the Trojans.
Now, Sanders and his coaching staff will work to flip Talib Graham from Ole Miss. If successful, this will be another major recruiting victory for Colorado. Graham had originally chosen Ole Miss over notable programs like Mississippi State, Iowa State, Georgia Tech and Auburn.
Talib Graham's senior season performance so far
In a 27-21 loss against Baker on Sept. 9, Talib Graham delivered a standout performance by registering nine tackles, including five for loss. His dominance continued in a recent 34-13 victory on Friday over Davidson, where he recorded six tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss and forced two fumbles.
Through six games this season, Graham has amassed 29 total tackles, 23 of which were solo. He has also recorded 14 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two forced fumbles, a defensive touchdown and a blocked field goal.
Last season, Graham recorded 46 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and seven sacks, but this year, he has elevated his game even further. He was also named the Defensive MVP at a Rivals camp series earlier this year.
