“Go to Michigan!” “Roll Tide!!!” - Fans left debating as 4-star TE Andrew Olesh prepares to announce highly anticipated commitment

Andrew Olesh, a highly sought-after four-star tight end from Center Valley, Pennsylvania, will reveal his college commitment on Monday at 6 p.m. ET. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 215 pounds, Olesh has narrowed his choices to four top programs: Michigan, Alabama, Florida and Penn State.

On Sunday, Olesh posted a reminder about his impending decision with a post on X.

Fans from each school are eagerly awaiting his decision and flocked to the post to convince the TE to join their team:

"Go to Michigan!" a fan stated.
"Roll Tide!!!" another fan posted.

Here is how fans of all four teams are debating:

"Michigan Go Blue," a Wolverines fan wrote.
"We are.....Penn State!" another fan posted.

Olesh, who has visited all four schools officially, is meticulously evaluating the environment, coaching staff and offensive schemes of each program. Florida and Penn State remain in the mix, but Michigan and Alabama appear to be leading. Olesh emphasized the importance of his official visits in his decision-making process.

"The OVs are going to be a huge factor in where I go," Olesh told On3. "I am evaluating how I felt in the environment and about the coaches and players there. I want to focus on committing somewhere that I know I feel most comfortable."

Andrew Olesh has visited Penn State eight times, and Alabama, Florida and Michigan twice each. He has built connections with key figures at these schools, including Michigan coach Sherrone Moore, Penn State coach James Franklin, Alabama tight ends coach Bryan Ellis and Michigan tight ends coach Steve Casula.

Michigan football eyeing key commitment from four-star TE Andrew Olesh

Michigan's football is pursuing four-star tight end Andrew Olesh, after a slow recruiting start. Olesh highlighted his criteria for choosing a school to On3 and said:

"At each school, I was looking at the environment, how I feel around the people and if it feels like a second home. I want to feel comfortable wherever I go."

Michigan's utilization of tight ends has caught Olesh's attention.

"I like how Michigan uses their tight ends," he said. "They’re about to produce a first-round draft pick at tight end in Colston Loveland, and I feel like I can replace him and play early. They use a lot of tight ends and sometimes use 13 personnel, which means more playing time for me."

Andrew Olesh also praised Michigan's coaching staff:

"Coach Moore is easily one of my favorite coaches because he’s always contacting me daily. He feels like family."

Ranked as the 84th prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports, Andrew Olesh's commitment would significantly boost Michigan's recruiting class, as the Wolverines are considered the frontrunners, with the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine giving them an 86.1% chance of landing the tight end.
