"Had an amazing OV at Georgia": Four-star RB Bo Jackson thanks Kirby Smart & team after his official Bulldogs visit

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs welcomed a visit from four-star running back Bo Jackson on Sunday. The Cleveland Villa Angela St. Joseph rusher is one of Georgia's main targets, and the interest was further solidified when Jackson visited the campus for the second time this weekend in Athens.

Jackson shared his gratitude towards Georgia and thanked Smart and his staff in his post on X.

"Had an Amazing OV at Georgia. Thanks @KirbySmartUGA @CoachJCrawford @GeorgiaFootball staff for everything," Jackson wrote.

Jackson is ranked No. 68 in the country and is the fourth-best recruit from Ohio in the 2025 cycle, according to On3's rankings.

Jackson is set to visit the Ohio State campus from May 31 to June 2 and the Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa from June 7-9. He has yet to announce his decision, but the four-star recruit has visits scheduled with Ohio State and Alabama.

The 6-foot running back visited Georgia and Alabama in early April, whereas he visited Ohio State's campus in Columbus in late March. The Ohio State Buckeyes currently lead the race to sign Bo Jackson, according to On3.

Bo Jackson visited Alabama and Georgia on the same weekend in April. Both these schools have had an eye on Jackson and have made him a top target.

He spoke about his experiences in an interview with On3.

"For me, Alabama is the school as a running back that you dream of getting the call that they want you to come play for the Tide," Jackson said. "I had a great time hanging with Coach G and Coach DeBoer. I’ll have all the OV stuff figured out after I finish all spring visits."

He further talked about his visit to Athens and the campus of the Georgia Bulldogs.

"Visit was great," the four-star recruit said. "Georgia practice was one of the most impressive practices I’ve seen. Just the energy from Coach (Kirby) Smart and how intense the scrimmage was. ... I spent a lot of time with him and new running backs coach Coach (Josh) Crawford. I’ve built a great relationship with since he has arrived."

Although the Ohio State Buckeyes are a strong favorite to land Bo Jackson, his visits to Alabama and Georgia have generated a positive reaction from the athlete.
