Elite wide receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. is one of four five-star prospects in the Texas Longhorns 2025 class. Many players remain in discussion with other schools throughout their recruiting journey, but Ffrench has shut down his recruitment to stay loyal to Steve Sarkisian's program.

Two months after giving his commitment to Texas, Ffrench will be back in Austin this weekend as the No. 1 Texas will play against the No. 5 Georgia at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.

On Tuesday, the prospect announced the gameday visit on X, writing:

"I’ll be back at HOME this weekend."

Jaime Ffrench chose Texas over powerhouse programs like Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Florida State. He is ranked by the On3 Industry Rankings as the No. 29 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 6 wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 5 recruit in Florida.

This weekend’s game will also see two elite programs under the leadership of two of the best coaches in college football: Kirby Smart and Steve Sarkisian. Smart, with a 19-9 record at Georgia, will face Sarkisian, who has a 7-12 career record at Texas. Both teams are coming off victories, with Texas defeating Oklahoma 34-3 and Georgia winning 41-31 against Mississippi State on Saturday.

Which other players will be in attendance in the Texas vs. Georgia matchup besides Jaime Ffrench Jr.?

The Texas vs. Georgia showdown has been in discussion for the Longhorns as their biggest recruiting weekend of the 2024 season, with the school hosting more than 40 prospects.

Besides Jaime Ffrench Jr., other five-star committed players from the 2025 class to attend the game include safety Jonah Williams, wide receiver Kaliq Lockett and edge rusher Lance Jackson.

Some four-star committed prospects to attend the matchup are linebacker Elijah Barnes, defensive tackle Myron Charles, tight end Nick Townsend and offensive tackle Nick Brooks. Three-star prospects like interior offensive linemen Devin Coleman, Jordan Coleman and Jackson Christian, as well as cornerback Caleb Chester and linebacker Jonathan Cunningham, will also be in attendance.

Texas will also host some uncommitted five-star players from the 2025 cycle, including linebacker Riley Pettijohn, defensive lineman Justus Terry, athlete Michael Terry III and edge Javion Hilson.
