“I realised the culture Michigan has isnt everywhere” - 4-star QB Brady Hart on his thoughts after Ohio State visit

Michigan football has recruited Brady Hart, a highly-touted quarterback prospect from the Class of 2026. The consensus four-star recruit ranked No. 92 overall, No. 15 in Florida and No. 9 among quarterbacks. His commitment to the Wolverines has sparked discussions about the contrasts between Michigan and Ohio State.

Hart expressed a strong preference for Ohio State's unique culture.

"When I walked out of Ohio State, I realized the culture that Michigan has isn't everywhere," Hart told On3 Sports. "There is not a place like Michigan."

Hart emphasized the importance of competing at a high level and his excitement about Michigan's potential for national championships.

"The ability to win is a huge thing for me, and the ability to win at a high level and compete for a national championship every year is huge. I can’t wait to be a part of it," Hart said.

Michigan's new coach Sherrone Moore aims to continue the program's success following Jim Harbaugh's departure. Even though Hart will come to the Wolverines in 2026, it is still a tough time for the quarterbacks at Michigan.

Sophomore Alex Orji is in the mix, alongside Davis Warren, a former walk-on with impressive pocket presence. Jayden Denegal, with his strong physique, and Jayden Davis, a promising newcomer, are also strong candidates. Additionally, Jack Tuttle, an experienced transfer from Indiana, brings significant Big Ten experience.

The Wolverines face a challenging schedule, with a notable game against Texas Longhorns on September 7. It is an early test for a team poised to compete for a Big Ten championship and a spot in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff.

Four-star QB Brady Hart chooses Michigan, highlights NFL aspirations

Four-star quarterback Brady Hart, hailing from Cocoa High School in Florida, has committed to the University of Michigan. He has declined offers from top programs such as Clemson, Notre Dame, Miami and Florida. Hart explained why he chose Michigan.

"Michigan is an amazing place," Hart told On3. "It is a place that will push me and squeeze the excellence out of me. I can go there and win a national championship and prepare for the NFL."

Hart is also rated as the 15th-best player in Florida. Hart's initial visit to Michigan left a lasting impression, thanks to head coach Sherrone Moore and offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell.

"The people in Ann Arbor are unbelievable," Hart remarked. "The visit blew me away and it is the best place for me. I want to be challenged and pushed, and I know Michigan will get the best out of me."
"Michigan is where I want to be and I am stoked about my decision. I am done with recruiting."

In his junior season at Cocoa High School, Hart threw for 3,759 yards and 41 touchdowns. He led his team to a state championship with a 14-1 record. His commitment marks the first pledge of the 2026 cycle for Moore and Campbell.
