"Look at my Boys": Colorado Buffaloes CB Travis Hunter's mom is full of pride for her younger son, following his elder brother's footsteps
Trayvis Hunter, the brother of Colorado star Travis Hunter, is having a terrific sophomore year at Effingham County High School in Springfield, Georgia. The wide receiver has accumulated 496 yards and six touchdowns in nine games for the Rebels, helping them to a 6-4 record.
Effingham County had a rocky start to the season, losing its first three games. However, the Rebels won six of their next seven games and are in the postseason. Trayvis has been a huge part of the school's recent success as he racked up 331 yards on 19 receptions and scored five touchdowns.
Trayvis is following in his brother's footsteps, and their mother is more than happy to see her sons fulfill their dreams. Travis is one of the best college football players in the country, and Trayvis seems to be right behind him.
On Monday, MaxPreps shared a post on its Instagram page about Trayvis' great play this season, and his mother was quick to show her love to her younger son.
"Look at my Boys. I’m a proud Mother," Trayvis and Travis' mother, Ferrante Harris, wrote.
Trayvis' best performance came against the Greenbrier Wolfpack from Evans, Georgia. He accumulated 159 yards on six receptions and scored a couple of touchdowns. The Rebels won the game 37-7.
Trayvis Hunter will look to emulate his brother's high school career
Effingham County's sophomore wide receiver, Trayvis Hunter, is having a great year. The 5-foot-7 athlete in the Class of 2027 is the younger brother of Colorado Buffaloes' two-way star Travis Hunter.
Travis is often regarded as one of the best college football players in the country. The Buffs' receiver/cornerback was ranked No. 2 in the Class of 2022 and was courted by some of the best programs in the nation. He had a tremendous high school career playing for Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia.
He accumulated 3,963 receiving yards on 272 receptions and scored 48 touchdowns while also grabbing 19 interceptions during his high school career. He first enrolled at Jackson State but later transferred to Colorado after the appointment of Deion Sanders as the Buffaloes' coach.
Trayvis Hunter is just getting started and is having a great sophomore year for the Rebels. He has racked up 496 yards and six touchdowns while helping his team reach the postseason with a record of 6-4. The young athlete will hope to have as great a high school career as his brother.
