"Obviously I want to win some more championships": Michigan Wolverines' WR signee shares goals for his college career
The Michigan Wolverines made four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh an early priority in the 2025 class by hosting him multiple times over the last year and a half. He committed to the Wolverines in August and signed his letter of intent on Wednesday, despite taking a late visit to Washington.
In an interview with On3's EJ Holland, Marsh laid out his goals for the next three to four years at Michigan.
"As a team, obviously I want to win some more championships, bring some more, and reach some more national championships," Marsh said. "Of course, we gotta beat that team down south in red. We got to beat them a few more times.
"Then obviously for myself, I definitely would love to go win a Litnikov. I have three back-to-back thousand-yard seasons, possibly go win a Heisman. Those are, obviously, some big goals for me. Um, and then obviously make it to the league."
The Michigan-Ohio State rivalry remains a crucial point for the program and its recruits. When asked about the Wolverines' thrilling 13-10 upset victory over the Buckeyes on Nov. 30, Marsh couldn’t contain his excitement.
"Oh, I was lit. I was lit. I mean, a lot of people was thinking that we were going to go out there and just roll over," Marsh said. "So it was good to see the boys really handle business. And then I just think it was a great game, great win, ready to keep it going."
Michigan's 2025 class was hit with a blow on Friday, as four-star tight end Andrew Olesh flipped his commitment to Penn State. However, with promising players like five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, the Wolverines seem poised to make a run for another championship season next year.
Andrew Marsh's potential with the Michigan Wolverines
Andrew Marsh is known for his strong hands, exceptional ball skills and physicality at the catch point. His large hands and ability to make contested catches make him a reliable target in critical moments.
Marsh played a big role in leading Katy Jordan High School in Texas to the third round of the playoffs this season. As a senior, he posted 65 receptions for 1,172 yards and 11 touchdowns. His performance earned him a spot in the Navy All-American Game before Jordan’s final District 19-6A game of the season last month.
Marsh is ranked by Rivals as the No. 114 prospect in the nation, the No. 18 wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 16 recruit in Texas. He was a former AAU All-American high jumper. With the Michigan Wolverines' pressing need for wide receivers, Marsh could make an immediate impact as a freshman.
