Oregon reportedly pursuing four-star Texas A&M LB commit Noah Mikhail for the class of 2025

Maliha

Four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail, from Bonita High School in La Verne, California, remains one of the highest-rated prospects in Texas A&M's 2025 class. The senior made his official visit to College Station on June 21 and gave his pledge shortly after.

Despite his commitment to Texas A&M, Mikhail remains a priority for Oregon. Chad Simmons from On3 reported that Dan Lanning and his staff are pushing hard for Mikhail to flip him from the Aggies.

Ahead of his pledge to Texas A&M, Mikhail took a visit to Oregon in March. Following the trip, he expressed that the Ducks would remain a "top priority" in his recruitment.

Much of Mikhail’s interest in Oregon is tied to Lanning due to his success on the defensive side.

"He's making that program great," Mikhail told SI. "Defensive-minded head coach, one of the best to do it. So he's definitely doing something special there and creating a culture that not only is winning, but has a good bond together."

Noah Mikhail is ranked by On3 Industry Rankings as the No. 97 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 10 linebacker in the 2025 class and the No. 8 recruit in California. If Lanning and his staff become successful in flipping him from Texas A&M, it will be a huge boost for their 2025 class.

Oregon has 16 committed players in its 2025 class, ranking No. 7 nationally. The cycle already features four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.

Noah Mikhail made a visit to the Texas A&M vs. Arkansas game this weekend

Noah Mikhail spent the weekend in Dallas watching Texas A&M defeat Arkansas 21-17. The game saw the Aggies take the lead with nine minutes remaining, as Marcel Reed connected with Tre Watson for a 5-yard touchdown pass to seal the win.

Mikhail himself is having a phenomenal senior season with the Bonita Bearcats. Throughout five games of the season, Mikhail has recorded 51 tackles (32 solo and 19 assisted), including 10 tackles for losses, two sacks, one quarterback hurry and one pass defensed.

The linebacker also contributed on offense with 187 yards and one touchdown. He currently leads the Bearcats in tackles per game, averaging 10.2.

The Bearcats remain undefeated at 5-0 heading into their Week 6 matchup against Glendora on Oct. 4.
