Overtime Elite star Meleek Thomas is a proud Pittsburgh native and was seen with high school football star, Xair Stevenson, who is also from the Steel City. The two posed together for a photo on Thomas' Instagram Stories, with the City Reapers shooting guard complimenting the Buffalo commit for stepping up and going to college.

Stevenson is a hard commit for the Buffalo Bulls, being offered back in February and officially committing in June. The 6-foot-1 cornerback for the University Prep Wildcats has remained unrated for the class of 2025.

Stevenson has been described as "a Buffalo recruit who excels as a playmaking linebacker on defense" but can also be a dangerous receiving threat. He has also taken the leadership role for his team during his senior year.

As for Meleek Thomas, he has already started playing for Overtime Elite, a basketball league that is also a private school and media company that enrolls high school basketball players aiming to become professional athletes. The 6-4 shooting guard has already played three games for his team, the City Reapers. He is getting paid while playing in the league and is still eligible to go to college.

The five-star prospect is currently ranked as the No. 11 player from the class of 2025, as well as the No. 1 shooting guard in his class. He is also the No. 2 player in Georgia. He is now down to his top seven schools, and they are UConn, Pitt, Kansas, Kansas State, Arkansas, Auburn and Alabama.

Meleek Thomas gets a strong start in the first 3 games with Overtime Elite

Meleek Thomas's time at Overtime Elite has gotten off to a good start, with the team still undefeated in its first three games of the preseason. This includes a lopsided 108-72 victory over Air Nado, a closer 94-84 game against the Florida Rebels, and a tight 93-86 win over Shahbaz Elite on October 16.

Throughout those three games, Thomas helped carry the team with an average of 25.3 points per game, with 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks. He also played an average of 26.3 minutes while shooting 73.9% on 2-point territory and 52.6% from 3-point range. He also had 75% free throw shooting but averaged 3.3 turnovers per game.

The game against Air Nado went viral as this was when Thomas trash-talked his opponents and called one of them a "fake 4-star."
