Photo: Elite 2026 recruit Brandon Arrington shares a snap with NFL legend Drew Brees at Texas vs. Texas A&M game
Several top-tier high school football stars traveled to College Station, Texas, to watch the Texas vs. Texas A&M game on Saturday, and one of them was five-star Brandon Arrington. The No. 15 recruit from the Class of 2026, according to 247Sports Composite, took a photo with NFL legend Drew Brees.

This was not the first time that Arrington visited College Station, as he was also there earlier this season watching the Aggies take on the LSU Tigers. During his visit this weekend, the Aggies lost 17-7 to the Longhorns.
He is still a junior, but his frequent visits to Texas A&M have made the school one of the clear favorites to get his commitment. He also has offers from Georgia, Michigan, Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon and BYU, among others.
As for Drew Brees, he did not go to either Texas A&M or Texas, as he played for Purdue University during his college days. However, he is a Texas native, and his father used to play college basketball for Texas A&M.
Five-star Brandon Arrington names which college is standing out the most for him so far
Brandon Arrington has been hailed for his speed and versatility. The five-star ATH previously spoke with On3's Josh Newberg in October and named which college team caught his eye so far.
“I’ll say Texas A&M. Like, their fanbase is like insane. It was just insane just being there and watching everything," he said.
The Texas A&M Aggies was the first SEC school to offer Brandon Arrington a scholarship, and they have remained aggressive in trying to court him. In another interview, he said why he liked the school so much.
“I like everything about Texas A&M," he told On3. "The staff and everybody is on me and they told me I’m their No. 1 target right now and they show it. I will be at Texas A&M a lot this year.”
Being a junior, it is too early for the Aggies to sign him. However, there is still plenty of time for other schools to flip him when he verbally commits.
