Purdue target Trent Sisley announces transfer from Heritage Hills to Cooper Flagg’s Montverde Academy

Trent Sisley, Heritage Hills High School's talented power forward, has decided to attend Montverde Academy for his senior year. The 6-foot-7 hooper from Indianapolis announced on Monday.

Sisley, a four-star recruit, is the Heritage Hills' all-time leading scorer. He has been on the radar of various top programs across the country including the Purdue Boilermakers and hopes to attract more attention by playing for the same high school as the former five-star recruit Cooper Flagg.

"I would like to thank the Heritage Hills community as well as all of my coaches and teammates," Trent Sisley wrote. "I will be forever grateful for my time spent as a Patriot. With that being said, I will be transferring to Montverde Academy for my senior year."

Sisley is ranked No. 69 nationally and is the 15th-best power forward in the country, as per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the 10th-best overall prospect from the state of Florida. The 6-foot-7 athlete has received considerable interest from schools such as Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame and Michigan State, among others.

Trent Sisley has included Notre Dame in his list of top five schools, along with other top schools such as Purdue, Michigan State, Indiana and Iowa. He has already visited Iowa and will visit other schools in the fall. The 6-foot-7 power forward spoke about his decision to include the Irish in his top five to On3's Joe Tipton and is set for an OV to Notre Dame on September 28th.

"Ever since (head coach Micah) Shrewsberry got the job, he has been in constant contact with me and my family," Sisley told Tipton.

Sisley also spoke about his dinner at O’Rourke’s ahead of a training camp at Notre Dame back in June this year.

"Dinner was good," Sisley told reporters the next day. "Just got to chat with them a little bit, watch the Celtics (whom Shrewsberry coached as an assistant from 2013-19)." [H/T On3]

Although the four-star recruit has included Notre Dame in his top five, they are not favorites to land the coveted recruit. According to On3, the Indiana Hoosiers lead the race to sign Trent Sisley with a 27% chance of landing the prospect.
