"Young legend," Shareef O'Neal wrote in the comment section of the post.
Kiyan Anthony is ranked in the top 35 in the nation and is the eighth-best shooting guard in the Class of 2025, per On3. He is also the best overall prospect from the state of New York.
Shareef O'Neal is currently playing for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. He went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft but later joined the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2022 NBA Summer League.
Kiyan Anthony narrows his list down to three schools
Kiyan Anthony, a four-star shooting guard from Long Island Lutheran High School, is sitting on more than 15 offers from some of the best college programs in the country. However, the talented athlete has now narrowed his list down to three schools. Syracuse, Auburn and USC make the 6-5 guard's final shortlist.
Amongst these three, the Syracuse Orange has the best odds of landing the four-star prospect, as per On3. The website gives the New York-based team an 84.2% chance of acquiring Anthony.
Kiyan's father, Carmelo Anthony, won a national title with the Orange back in 2003, and that will help Syracuse in their pursuit of the 17-year-old shooting guard. Other than Syracuse, the USC Trojans have a 5.6% chance of landing the four-star prospect, according to On3.
Syracuse's Class of 2025 is currently ranked 36th in the country, as per 247Sports. The program has landed commitments from Sadiq White Jr., Aaron Womack and Luke Fennell so far and will look to add Kiyan Anthony to that list as soon as possible.
