Texas head coach Vic Schaefer talks about Aaliyah Crump
The No. 3 shooting guard and the No. 1 player in Minnesota committed to Texas after rejecting Ohio State, Baylor, Minnesota and more.
Coach Schaefer talked about Crump's signing with On3, stating that they scouted her "several years ago:"
"I'm excited and proud to announce the signing of Aaliyah Crump to our program," Texas coach Vic Schaefer said.
"Aaliyah is someone we identified several years ago as a young lady who would continue to develop into an elite basketball player and someone who could be an incredible student-athlete here at The University of Texas. She is already a state champion, a USA Basketball gold medalist and I believe the best is yet to come."
Aaliyah Crump is the only 2025 recruit that the Longhorns have signed so far.
