Top 100 OT Lamont Rogers is set to announce his commitment from six CFB teams: Report

Lamont Rogers, one of the best offensive tackles in the country, is set to go off the board soon. He will announce his commitment on Saturday. Rogers plays his high school football at Horn High School in Texas and is a highly sought-after tackle.

SMU, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida State are the six schools in contention to acquire Rogers' services. Missouri leads the race, according to On3, with a 59.8% chance of landing the 6-foot-7, 305 tackle. Oklahoma (12.8%) and Texas (8.3%) follow suit.

As per On3, Rogers is the No. 60 overall prospect in the entire country and is the 12th-best overall prospect in Texas. He is also the 7th best offensive tackle in the nation.

Lamont Rogers completed his official visits last month. Rogers is a four-star recruit with huge potential going forward.

Missouri Tigers can add to their strong start to July by landing four-star OT Lamont Rogers

Lamont Rogers, the four-star offensive tackle from Texas, is likely heading to Missouri to play his college football.

Missouri has had a strong start to the month as they landed a four-star wide receiver in Jayvan Boggs on Thursday. The Florida native became the Tigers' 13th commitment of the 2025 class.

Boggs chose Missouri over other top schools such as UCF, Georgia and USC. The receiver is ranked 222nd overall in the nation, according to On3, and is the 30th-best receiver in the country.

Multiple top prospects in the country are set to announce their decisions in the coming days, and the Tigers have a strong chance of landing a few of them. The Tigers are in contention to land four-star recruit Donovan Olugbode while also leading the race for Rogers.

Another top recruit that might end up in Missouri is the four-star defensive back from Saint Louis, Charles Bass. The Tigers are favorites with a 59.7% chance to land the 6-foot-1 CB from East St. Louis High School.
