Trevor Ariza's son Tajh Ariza shares 2-word reaction to his latest performance at the John Wall Holiday Invitational
Trevor Ariza's son, Tajh Ariza, was indeed electrifying at the just-concluded John Wall Holiday Invitational, and he knows it. The five-star prospect shared a two-word reaction on Instagram to a post highlighting his performance against Southern Durham on Monday.
The post, which was originally shared on Tuesday by SLAM HS, was a carousel featuring a picture of the player with an inscription that read "Tajh Ariza was getting busy!" with video highlights of the forward's performance: 23 points, five rebounds and two assists.
"Yea Yea," Ariza posted.
Arenas' Westchester High School Comets, from Los Angeles, won 61-57. The game, which was tied at 24-24 at halftime, was closely contested.
Apart from Tajh Ariza, who was crowned the player of the game, Class of 2026 prospect Khaeden Asher-Grady was also crucial. The 6-foot-3 point guard put up 18 points, eight rebounds and two assists.
Where Will Tajh Ariza play college basketball?
Still a Class of 2026 prospect, Tajh Ariza hasn't announced his commitment to a college program. Ariza, ranked seventh overall by ESPN, has attracted interest from eight colleges, including top programs like Kansas, UCLA, USC and Arkansas.
According to On3, the USC Trojans lead the race to secure his signature with a 17.4% chance. Next in line is his father's alma mater, UCLA (15.2%).
Being a Class of 2026 prospect, Tajh Ariza still has time on his hands to make a decision. For now, he will be focusing on the Comets as they take on Inglewood in their next game.
