The video showcased the 5-foot-11 athlete's incredible speed and athleticism as he went past the defense with ease and scored the Monarchs' first touchdown of the game.
Davison's impressive performance was the major reason for the Mater Dei Monarchs' dominant ground game, accumulating a combined 208 rushing yards. In contrast, the Santa Margarita Eagles only rushed for 63 yards.
MaxPreps has ranked Mater Dei as the best high school football team in the country, and it played like one against the Eagles. It now takes on the unbeaten Servite Friars from Anaheim, California, who's ranked No.19 nationally, as per MaxPreps.
Jordon Davison announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks this year
The four-star running back from Mater Dei High School announced his commitment to Oregon in June this year. Jordon Davison chose the Ducks over other top schools like Ohio State, USC, Michigan, Alabama, Texas, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Davison's main reason for choosing the Ducks over other elite programs was the team's coach Dan Lanning.
"He probably the coolest head coach I have met so far," Davison said after announcing his commitment, as per On3. "He is for sure gonna win the national championship and he for sure is going to have the players and the coaches to do it."
Davison is the Ducks' only running back commit from the class of 2025. Oregon has landed 16 commitments from the class and holds the No. 8 spot in the 2025 Team Rankings, as per 247Sports.
Jordon Davison is ranked No. 141 nationally and is the eighth-best running back in the country, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He's also the ninth-best overall recruit from the state of California.
