WATCH: 5-star Oregon commit shows off his skills during intense practice session with the Ducks

Dakorien Moore, the standout five-star wide receiver from Duncanville, Texas, officially committed to the Oregon Ducks on July 4. Recognized as the top wide receiver in the 2025 ESPN 300 rankings, Moore recently demonstrated his elite capabilities during a vigorous practice with the Ducks at the Saturday Night Live camp.

He showcased his remarkable speed, agility, and route-running skills. A clip from the session captured Moore's quick footwork and his knack for creating separation from defenders.

Moore's athletic prowess is not limited to football; he also excels in track and field. He played a crucial role in his school's victory in the 4x200 relay, securing a state championship earlier this year.

Moore's path to Oregon has been eventful. Initially committing to LSU in August 2023, he reopened his recruitment in May 2024. After considering several schools, he made his decision on July 4, 2024, to join the Ducks.

At 5'11" and 185 pounds, Moore led Duncanville High School to conquer consecutive Texas 6A Division I state titles. As a sophomore, he recorded 44 receptions for 764 yards and six touchdowns. His junior year was even more impressive ,wiith 71 receptions for 1,532 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Moore's commitment significantly boosts Duck's recruiting class, which is ranked 22nd nationally by ESPN. He joins a talented cohort, including four-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson and quarterback Akili Smith Jr.

Moore represents a major achievement for head coach Dan Lanning, being the highest-ranked commit of his tenure. Oregon’s 2025 class also features top offensive recruits like running back Jordon Davison and athlete Dierre Hill, alongside defensive stars Dorian Brew, Brandon Finney, and linebacker Nasir Wyatt.

Oregon Ducks secure top 2026 RB Tradarian Ball

Four-star running back Tradarian Ball committed to the Ducks on Saturday, becoming the second pledge for the 2026 class alongside four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland.

Ball, who hails from Texarkana, Texas, chose the Ducks over Texas, LSU, and USC. His decision is particularly gratifying for Duck's coaching staff, as Ball was heavily pursued by the Longhorns. According to the 247Sports Composite, Ball ranks as the No. 2 running back in the 2026 class and the No. 4 prospect out of Texas.

Ball's sophomore season showcased his talent with 1,290 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, in addition to 25 receptions for 411 yards and six touchdowns in the passing game.

Ball announced his commitment during Oregon's annual recruiting event, Saturday Night Live (SNL). Started by former coach Willie Taggart, SNL has a history of yielding multiple commitments. This year, several top recruits attended, including Na'eem Offord, the No. 2 cornerback in the 2025 class, who is considering de-committing from Ohio State in favor of Oregon.
