Kiyan Anthony names his final three schools
A four-star prospect from Middle Village, New York, Kiyan Anthony has trimmed his list down to three schools, as per On3. Auburn, Syracuse and USC made the shooting guard’s final list, and he will now look to announce his decision next.
He was sitting on 11 scholarship offers from some of the best programs in the country. He received offers from Rutgers, Florida State, Ohio State, Maryland, Providence and Illinois, among others. However, he now narrowed his list down to three schools.
Among those three schools, Syracuse has the best chance of landing the coveted prospect, as per On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Kiyan’s father and 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony attended Syracuse and won an NCAA championship with the program. The youngster, on the other hand, has already taken official visits to Syracuse and USC.
“Syracuse has a young core on the team now. And I learned a lot about the coaches and their vision,” Anthony said, as per On3. “They’re still recruiting hard, trying to put together the 2024 and the 2025 classes.
"When I speak with the coaches, they let me know the vision. The type of players they’re recruiting and who all they think will be around. I liked all the stuff I heard from them.”
Although Syracuse is the favorite to land the shooting guard, USC reportedly has an outside chance of doing the same.
