Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, delivered a stellar performance at the Peach Invitational, leading Team Melo to a 77-74 victory over Ohio Red on July 14. A top recruit for the 2025 class, Anthony impressed with his all-around game, contributing 16 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Peach Invitational, a significant annual basketball event, will take place in 2024 at various locations, including TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, CA, and several parks in Cobb, Cherokee, and Forsyth counties in Georgia.
Anthony's ability to create his shot stood out as he consistently found open spaces and capitalized on mismatches, even posting up smaller defenders. His father, Carmelo Anthony, Syracuse head coach Red Autry, and his coaching staff were present to witness his outstanding display.
Kiyan Anthony plans college visits for September
Kiyan Anthony a four-star shooting guard in the 2025 class, is scheduling several college visits. In June, Anthony told On3 about plans to visit Auburn, Ohio State, and Indiana in September. He has since added USC to his list.
Kiyan Anthony has completed official visits to Syracuse, his father Carmelo Anthony’s alma mater, and Florida State. He also has offers from Providence, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Illinois, Dayton, Maryland, Michigan, UCF, West Virginia, and Arizona State. According to On3, Anthony is ranked 31st nationally in the 2025 class.
Kiyan Anthony's extraordinary abilities on the field have given rise to a wave of enthusiasm from college coaches. The schools, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Memphis, Michigan, Seton Hall, Syracuse, and Tennessee are almost among the schools that offered him a scholarship.
