Ohio State running back commit Bo Jackson put on an absolute show in Villa Angela-St. Joseph’s dominant 60-0 victory over Mansfield Senior High School on Friday. In just the first half of the game, he racked up over 200 rushing yards and scored three touchdowns.

With 5:44 left in the first quarter, Jackson broke free for a 21-yard touchdown run, putting the Vikings up 13-0. He followed that up with a 16-yard TD run, leaving him with 162 rushing yards and two scores in the opening quarter.

In the second quarter, Jackson continued his dominance. With 5:27 remaining, he sprinted for a 35-yard touchdown, pushing the Vikings’ lead to 33-0. By halftime, his incredible performance had sealed the game for his team, who recorded a 60-0 win.

This outstanding outing comes just after Jackson's stellar season opener on August 23, where he carried the ball 13 times for 172 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 victory over GlenOak. He is building off a remarkable junior season, in which he rushed for nearly 1,700 yards and scored almost 30 touchdowns.

Bo Jackson's athletic profile

Bo Jackson’s name carries a legacy, and Villa Angela-St. Joseph’s Bo Jackson is living up to it. Much like the original Auburn legend, this Bo Jackson is an exceptional multisport athlete, excelling in baseball and track and field as well as football.

As a running back, Jackson's game is characterized by both power and finesse. His ability to break through tackles and read defenses has drawn praise from Jeff Rotsky, his high school coach. Rotsky proudly noted that Jackson has the best ball skills he has ever seen in a back at any level.

Hudson Standish, a 247 Sports analyst, praised Jackson's incredible contact balance, stating how he consistently runs through arm tackles and maintains his footing after contact.

Jackson entered his senior season as the No. 3 athlete in the 2025 class, the No. 85 overall recruit in the nation and the No. 5 prospect in Ohio State, per 247 Sports. On3 ranks him as the No. 136 overall prospect nationally, the No. 5 athlete in the cycle and the No. 7 recruit in Ohio.
