"We are turning heads and the narrative is being rewritten": Triston Abram vows to stay committed to Indiana amid Michigan rumors

Three-star edge rusher Triston Abram is one of the key members of Indiana's 2025 class. He returned to Bloomington last weekend to see the No. 16 Hoosiers continue their phenomenal season with a massive 56-7 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Curt Cignetti's Hoosiers amassed 495 total yards and improved to 7-0 with the win. Abram is overwhelmed with what he is seeing in his future program, and per On3, he's "100% locked in" with the Hoosiers as Michigan is reportedly pushing to flip his pledge.

“We are turning heads and the narrative is being rewritten about Indiana Football," Abram said. "As a commit, I love what all the coaching staff are doing and there’s players here you least expect that are going to continue to show and dominate the game and bring Indiana football to the top for years to come."

Indiana's 2025 class ranks No. 56 in the nation with 20 committed players. The class has yet to secure the commitment of a quarterback, but Abram is already seeing the potential in the room.

“Our 2025 class is going to be something special and one of a kind!" Abram said.

However, Abram has been linked with the Wolverines since last month. He has received more than one dozen offers, but all of them came before his commitment to Indiana in June. Michigan is the only program to pursue him heavily by extending an offer on Sept. 17.

Triston Abram took an official visit to the Wolverines on Sept. 28 and is also set to return to the school on Nov. 2. However, he confirmed that he is not going to reopen his recruitment and will stick with Indiana.

Triston Abram opens up about the Michigan offer

Receiving an offer from Michigan is a great feat for any prospect, and Triston Abram is no exception. He revealed his excitement to 247Sports, saying:

"I'm grateful for the Michigan offer, they're a Power 4 school. I honestly wasn't expecting it at all. My hard work has been paying off."

Triston Abram has also received scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Memphis, Boston College, Kansas and Kent State, among others. He is ranked by the On3 Industry Rankings as the No. 659 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 61 edge rusher in the 2025 class and the No. 9 recruit in Missouri.
