Wes Miller's Cincinnati lands commitment from sought-after Class of 2025 4-star point guard
Keyshuan Tillery has committed to Cincinnati and head coach Wes Miller. The 5-foot-10 point guard is a three-star prospect as per On3, and a four-star per ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports.
The New Hampton school student also received offers from programs like Bryant University, Dayton, and Florida, but chose Cincinnati. The reason behind his decision was that Tillery "felt like home." He told On3:
“I chose Cincinnati because when I stepped on campus, it felt like home. The guys on the team, we vibed and that meant something to me. Coach Miller and the staff recruited me very heavily and built a great relationship. What allowed me to trust the staff was how real and upfront they were with me. Everything was genuine.”
He also had a message for Cincinnati fans:
“One thing I have for Cincy fans is I’m excited to get on campus and get to work and I’m willing to do anything to impact winning! You get a competitor, someone that wants to impact winning any way I can. I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I'm just the ultimate competitor at the end of the day."
Keyshuan Tillery adds to Cincinnati's developing 2025 class
The New Hampton native shortlisted his final choice from 28 offers to Cincinnati, Wake Forest, and Virginia. In the Nike EYBL, Tillery represented the New York City Rocks and averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 6 assists while shooting 46.8% from the field and 41.6% from beyond the arc.
The Cincinnati Bearcats have been busy in the recruiting department. Two four-star recruits in the name of Jalen Reece and Davion Hannah completed their visit already.
According to ESPN, Reece ranks at the 60th spot in the 2025 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database and has received offers from Dayton, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Providence, and South Florida. Hannah ranks 22nd on the 2025 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database and is considering offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, De Paul, and Iowa.
While Keyshuan Tillery is undersized, he makes up for it with his competitiveness and leadership abilities. As a point guard, he has the ability to scan the floor and pick passes. Furthermore, while defending, Tillery works as a great first defender while in transition.
With Keyshuan Tillery committing to Cincinnati, how do you think the Bearcats will perform next season?
