Saint John's University sophomore center Lizzy Gruber and Greensboro Day (N.C.) School senior power forward Ace Flagg have been dating for two years. Since they went public about their relationship in April, the duo has been actively sharing glimpses of their love life with a slew of Instagram posts and stories.

On the anniversary of their relationship on Wednesday, Gruber shared a series of adorable snaps with Flagg on Instagram.

Lizzy Gruber’s post came right after Flagg shared romantic snaps of them commemorating the time they've spent together. Beyond the chemistry between the basketball couple, the Instagram post included a caption that read:

“two years of mailing you love letters.”

Flagg and Gruber are both from Maine. Flagg transferred to powerhouse Montverde Academy with his brother, Duke freshman Cooper Flagg, last season before transferring to GDS, moving closer to his brother, for this season.

The pictures and equally adorable caption were enough for fans to get chatty discussing the love and vibe shared by the couple.

Marveling at the chemistry between the couple, one fan remarked:

“My heart, you two are perfection.”

Another chimed in with a similar comment.

“How freaking cute!” the comment read.

However, a few fans couldn't resist making lighthearted jokes about Ace Flagg's hilarious photo, which featured him wearing braces and lipstick. One fan exclaimed:

Continuing the playful comments, one referred to a picture where the couple is cleaning a floor:

Beyond the love life that has garnered much interest, Lizzy Gruber has impressed with her performance as well.

The 6-foot-4 center from Gardiner Area High School bagged the Miss Maine Basketball 2023 honors. At Saint Joseph's last season, she played 14 games, totaling five points, eight rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes.

Lizzy Gruber also etched her name in Maine basketball history by becoming the first female to snare her 1,000th rebound before her 1,000th point.

On the other hand, her boyfriend, the twin brother of Duke forward Cooper Flagg, is a three-star prospect.

Together, the duo form a couple brimming with basketball talent.
