Shon Abaev, the four-star recruit from Calvary Christian Academy, is one of the most sought-after high school basketball players in the country. The 6-foot-7 small forward has almost 20 offers from some of the best programs in the country.
Abaev has scheduled six official visits starting from August 23. The four-star recruit will visit Dayton, Syracuse, USC, Auburn, Cincinnati and Maryland, per 247Sports. Abaev has yet to trim his list to his final shortlist and remains open about his recruitment.

#3. Tennessee
The Tennessee Volunteers are one of the frontrunners in landing Shon Abaev. He visited the Vols' campus earlier this year and watched them take down the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The Volunteers have extended offers to 45 high school athletes from the class of 2025, including Abaev. Tennessee has a 10.3% chance of landing the talented prospect, as per On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. They have the third-best odds of acquiring Abaev.
#2. Georgia
Shon Abaev received an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs in May. He shared the news on X (formerly Twitter). Abaev visited the Bulldogs' campus from June 26-28.
Georgia's class of 2025 is currently ranked 11th in the country, as per 247Sports. They have secured a commitment from four-star recruit Jacob Wilkins from Grayson High School.
Acquiring Abaev will boost their rankings and help them breach the top-10 mark. The Bulldogs have a 12.0% chance of landing the four-star prospect, according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
#1. Auburn
Per On3, Auburn is the leading candidate to land Shon Abaev. The forward shared a post on his Instagram in May 2023 about receiving an offer from the Tigers.
Although the Tigers haven't received any commitments yet, they have extended offers to 32 athletes from the class of 2025, including Abaev. The four-star prospect is scheduled to visit Auburn's campus in September. Auburn has a 13.7% chance of landing the coveted recruit, according to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
