Top 3 landing spots for 4-star WR Phillip Bell to the class of 2025 ft. USC

Phillip Bell, a four-star receiver from Mission Viejo High School, has received a lot of interest from some of the best schools in the country. The highly sought-after athlete currently has offers from USC, Ohio State, Washington, Georgia and Tennessee, among others.

Although Bell hasn't committed yet, the 6-foot-2 receiver is nearing a decision and will announce it on August 31.

"My mind is made up," Bell told On3. "The main things for me throughout my whole recruitment stayed the same. They were development, a place I know I can be happy at every day and the place that I feel can help get me to where I want to be. That is what my decision came down to."

Phillip Bell is ranked No.177 in the country and is the 19th-best wide receiver in the class of 2025, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the 16th-best overall prospect from California. Let's take a look at the top three contenders for the player.

Top 3 landing spots for 4-star WR Phillip Bell

#3. Washington

The Washington Huskies are among the finalists to land Bell. They locked in an official visit from the coveted receiver in May this year. The California native racked up 600 yards and scored seven touchdowns as a junior in high school.

The Huskies' class of 2025 is ranked 19th in the country, according to 247Sports, as they have landed 26 commitments so far. Washington has extended offers to 193 high school athletes from the class and hopes to land some of them to improve their rankings.

#2. USC

The USC Trojans extended an offer to Phillip Bell in the first week of August. Bell has the Trojans in his final shortlist of programs.

USC's class of 2025 is ranked No.18 in the country, as per 247Sports, and is yet to land a five-star recruit from the class. The program has secured 16 commitments so far and has extended 265 offers to high school athletes.

#1. Ohio State

Ohio State is the favorite to land Phillip Bell. The prospect received an offer from the Buckeyes back in March last year. Bell spoke to On3 after receiving the offer:

"I called my parents to tell them about the offer and they broke down in tears. They know what this offer means to me. It is my dream school. Ohio State is WRU. They get their players to the NFL and that is my dream, so I can’t even explain what this means to me."

Ohio State's class of 2025 is the best-ranked class in the country, as per 247Sports. They have already landed some of the best high school athletes in the nation and have extended 172 offers so far.
