Top 5 tight ends in 2025 class: Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Miami Dominate with top commitments

The class of 2025 has an impressive set of high school tight ends from all across the country. The class includes two five-star recruits and eight prospects ranked inside the On3 Industry Rankings top 150.

The top 35 tight ends in the class of 2025 have already announced their commitments. Schools such as Georgia, Miami, Tennessee and Ohio State have already built a strong, tight-end group from the class of 2025.

Let's look at the five best tight ends from the class of 2025.

#5. Da'Saahn Brame

The four-star recruit from Derby High School, Da'Saahn Brame, flipped his commitment from Oregon to Tennessee in July. Brame chose the Volunteers over other top schools such as Oklahoma, LSU, and Kansas State.

The 6-foot-4.5 tight end is one of the best players in his position in the class of 2025. He is the third-best tight end in a strong tight end class and is currently ranked No. 99 in the country, as per On3.

#4. Andrew Olesh

Andrew Olesh is the fourth-best tight end in the class of 2025, as per On3. The Pennsylvania native committed to the Michigan Wolverines in July. He is one of the most sought-after players in the country and chose the Wolverines over other top schools such as Penn State, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn.

Olesh is ranked No. 101 nationally and is the third-best overall prospect from the state of Pennsylvania, as per On3. The 6-foot-5 tight end finished his junior year with 53 receptions for 973 yards and 10 touchdowns.

#3. Kiotti Armstrong

Jasper High School's Kiotti Armstrong announced his commitment to the Texas A&M Aggies in June. Texas, Baylor, Auburn, and Miami, among others, were in contention to land the coveted four-star recruit.

Armstrong is ranked No. 76 nationally and is the third-best player at his position, as per 247Sports. He is also the 14th-best player from his home state of Texas.

#2. Linkon Cure

The five-star recruit from Goodland, Kansas, Linkon Cure, committed to the Kansas State Wildcats on July 1. Cure chose the Wildcats over other programs such as Oregon, Kansas, Texas A&M, and Auburn.

Cure is ranked No. 26 nationally and is the second-best player at his position, as per 247Sports. He is also the second-best player from his home state of Kansas. He also played basketball and even ran the 300-meter and 110-meter hurdles for his high school track team.

#1. Elyiss Williams

Camden County High School's five-star tight end, Elyiss Williams, is the best tight end in the country from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. The 6-foot-7 athlete from Georgia announced his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs in April.

Williams chose the Bulldogs over other top schools such as Florida State, UCF, Tennessee, and LSU. The tight end also played basketball for his high school team. During the 2022 season, Williams caught six passes for 192 yards and a touchdown while averaging 16.9 points and 3.8 blocks as a sophomore.
