The song also reached No. 71 on the Hot 100 chart, marking his first appearance there since 2009.
Sandpaper has also done great numbers digitally, making more than 7.1 million streams last week, as per Billboard. The album it is part of, The Great American Bar Scene, was just behind Taylor Swift, with 137,000 units.
According to Billboard, apart from Sandpaper, many other songs from the album are also a part of the Hot 100.
Springsteen and his band The E Street band, are currently on a world tour. However, the bad had to postpone shows in Marseille, Prague, and Milan due to Springsteen's health issues.
