Over 227 games, he tallied an impressive 111 goals and 135 assists, totaling 246 points, and accrued 265 penalty minutes. His remarkable performance in junior hockey led the Columbus Blue Jackets to select him in the second round, 37th overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
