Brady Tkachuk is a professional ice hockey player, serving as the captain of the Ottawa Senators in the NHL. He was drafted fourth overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2018 NHL Draft. During his first season, Tkachuk netted 22 goals, ranking second among rookies, and earned a spot on the Atlantic Division team for the 2020 NHL All-Star Game.

Tkachuk grew up and played youth hockey in St. Louis after his father's trade to the Blues in 2001. He spent two seasons with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program and one at Boston University, where he was selected to the Hockey East All-Rookie team and contributed to BU's victory in the Hockey East championship. Tkachuk served as the captain of the United States team during the 2017 IIHF Under-18 World Championship, helping the U.S. secure a championship title. He also played a role in the team's third-place finish at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship.
