3 new NHL 25 features debuting in EA's latest Chel edition feat. skill-based one timers
EA Sports is set to release NHL 25, marking the 34th installment in the National Hockey League video game series. The video game is scheduled for launch on Oct. 4 and will exclusively be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The upcoming NHL video game introduces several exciting features aimed at enhancing the gaming experience. One of the standout additions Chel fans will get their hands on is the skill-based one-timer mechanic, which allows players to have greater control over their shots.
Additionally, the game boasts improved reliability and accuracy for CPU players, along with a new animation set that aims to create a more seamless and realistic gameplay experience.
To begin with, one of the major upgrades in the video game has to be the presentation, which is going to introduce the Grudge Match System while keeping track of the competitive history between teams.
The second feature in the upcoming NHL 25 video game is a revamped franchise mode, a new WOC live events structure and the HUT Wildcard Mode. The XP progression system has also been simplified, allowing players to share a single-path progression across HUT, making it much easier to develop their teams.
Another feature players can look forward to is innovative ways to build their dream roster in Hocey Unlimited Team, including the unique Wildcard Mode that introduces new rulesets.
Notably, all XP earned in modes like Squad Battles, Rivals and Wild Card will contribute to a unified progression path, enhancing the overall experience for players. These are the three big changes that Chel users will experience in NHL 25 next month.
Fans can pre-order the game on the official EA website for both Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
