"A freaking fossil in hockey years": Alex Wennberg's wife Felicia wishes husband well on his "dirty 30" birthday
On Sunday, Alex Wennberg's wife, Felicia, shared a sweet photo on Instagram. The picture shows their family of four. They have a toddler named Ivy, born in March, and an older son, Rio, who is about 5 or 6 years old.
Felicia wrote a loving message for Alex as he turns 30. She said:
"My guy is Dirty 30 / a freaking fossil in hockey years 🤍 I love you and everything you are. No one is a better father and husband, and I am so grateful for everything you do for our family."
Earlier, Felicia shared another picture of Ivy. She reflected on being "six wins short of bringing home a baby and a cup" after the New York Rangers' playoff run.
The Rangers lost in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Florida Panthers last season. Wennberg had been traded to the Rangers from the Seattle Kraken and played 19 regular-season games for them.
"All the feels wrapping up a season of six wins short of bringing home a baby and a cup👶🏻🏆🥲 yet so grateful and amazed by these last few months in new york and the memories made💙" Felicia wrote on IG.
This season, Wennberg joined the San Jose Sharks on a two-year deal worth $5 million per year. The contract includes a full no-trade clause for the first year.
The Sharks signed Alex Wennberg to support injured players like Logan Couture and to help Sharks 2024 first overall pick Macklin Celebrini. Wennberg looks forward to sharing his experience and learning from the young players.
Alex Wennberg’s wife Felicia's appreciation post for daughter Ivy
On August 2, Felicia shared moments from their family life with fans. It also featured their two kids. In one photo, Ivy was in a jumpsuit and flower-shaped goggles. Rio was learning to care for his younger sister.
Alex Wennberg, who had a tough 2023-24 NHL season, enjoys time with his kids. One picture shows him smiling while holding both children. Felicia is also seen keeping an eye on her sleeping kids, wrapping her arms around them.
Their two dogs, a toy poodle and a dachshund, also feature in some photos. This look into the Wennberg family shows their close bond and happiness in everyday life.
