Alex Ovechkin's wife Nastasiya shares pictures from their family Christmas gathering

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin and his family celebrated Christmas together in a cozy celebration this year. On Wednesday, Ovechkin’s wife Nastasiya shared pictures from their holiday gathering on her Instagram stories.

One photo showed the family standing together in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Ovechkin, Nastasiya, their sons Sergei and Ilya, and Ovechkin’s mother Tatyana were joined by his brother Mikael. Alex Ovechkin wore a casual white T-shirt on the ocassion while Nastasiya donned a striped black shirt over a black top.

She also shared a clip of their son Sergei busy with Christmas crafts, decorating ornaments shaped and painting Christmas tree stickers. Nastasiya then shared a glimpse of their Christmas decor featuring a cozy fireplace decorated with stockings, fairy lights, and sparkling silver trees.

In the next few clips, Alex Ovechkin can be seen relaxing on a cozy sofa with their sons. The family is cuddled up under a blanket, watching the "Harry Potter and the Chanber of Secrets" movie together in their warmly lit living room.

A beautifully decorated Christmas tree can also be seen shining in the background with golden lights and ornaments as a festive wreath sat on the coffee table.

Alex Ovechkin’s wife Nastasiya attends Capitals’ Ladies Christmas Party

Earlier this week, Nastasiya Ovechkina attended the Capitals Ladies Christmas Party 2024. The event saw many familiar faces from the Capitals family, including Tom Wilson’s wife Taylor Pischke, Nicklas Backstrom’s partner Liza Berg, Lauren Oshie, wife of T. J. Oshie, Jakob Chychrun’s girlfriend Liv, and Tatsiana Protas, wife of Aliaksei Protas.

Nastasiya shared glimpses of the gathering on her Instagram stories, giving fans a peek into the event. She reposted a group photo featuring the ladies dressed in matching red-and-white striped Christmas pajamas. The picture was originally shared by Tatsiana Protas.

Tatsiana also posted a uniquely decorated Christmas tree adorned with ribbons containing the names of the Capitals players’ partners. Nastasiya then shared a close-up of the party's table setup, which included golden goblets, a striped tablecloth, and a special red menu with golden reindeer designs labeled "Capitals Ladies Christmas Party 2024." The attendees received personalized bracelets with their names for the occasion.

Liv, girlfriend of Jakob Chychrun, also posted highlights from the evening, including a food spread featuring charcuterie, fruits, veggies, dips, and cocktail menus. She then posted a mirror selfie in her special pajamas.
