Brady and Matthew Tkachuk's sister Taryn drops 1-word reactions to both brothers making USA's 4 Nations Face-Off roster

Brady Tkachuk has joined his brother, Matthew, on Team USA's roster for the 4 Nations Face-Off in February. This marks their first time playing together since their joint appearances in the NHL All-Star Game. Their sister, Taryn, showed her support for both brothers on Wednesday.

On Instagram, Taryn posted her brothers' announcements celebrating their inclusion in the all-elusive roster consisting of the best players in the USA. She wrote two one-word reactions describing Brady's achievement with 'Boom' and Matthew's with 'Woohoo.'

Tkachuk brothers take pride in representing their countries in the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off, which replaces this season's NHL All-Star Game. The event serves as a warm-up for the 2026 Winter Olympics, where NHL players are expected to compete.

The league had previously taken a back seat from allowing its players to suit up for their national teams in the last two editions of the Olympics.

Matthew Tkachuk was one of six players named to the American team in June. The Florida Panthers' alternate captain was chosen alongside forwards Auston Matthews and Jack Eichel and defensemen Charlie McAvoy, Quinn Hughes and Adam Fox.

Ahead of the announcement, Brady Tkachuk spoke about teaming up alongside his older brother. He expressed it as a "dream come true" moment for them and their entire family.

“It’s something we’ve always talked about, representing our country and playing together," Brady said. "It would be really special for both of us and our entire family."

Brady booked his spot in the final roster after a strong start to the current season. The Ottawa Senators captain has notched up 28 points, including 13 goals in 24 games. He had previously played internationally at the IIHF World Championship in 2024. He is one of two Senators players picked besides Linus Ullmark, who has been chosen as one of the goaltenders for Team Sweden.

Meanwhile, Matthew Tkachuk is one of seven players from the Panthers. Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart are going to be on Team Canada. Aleksander Barkov, Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen will be representing Team Finland, while Gustav Forsling will play for Team Sweden.
