Bruins captain Brad Marchand roasts Paul Bissonnette during pregame interview
In a lighthearted pregame interview between the Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night, Bruins captain Brad Marchand had a witty retort for analyst Paul Bissonnette.
Bissonnette, joking with Marchand during the NHL on TNT broadcast, asked the star forward if he had gotten a Turkish hair transplant during the offseason. Without missing a beat, Marchand responded:
"I just tryna look like those guys who beat the wheels off you the other night."
His quip caused an eruption of laughter from the TNT panel. Marchand was talking about the fight Bissonnette had got into over the weekend at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. The former NHL enforcer was assaulted by a group of men after coming to the defense of restaurant staff who was being harassed.
Police arrested six men in connection with the brawl, which left Bissonnette battered but avoiding serious injury. Bissonnette took the teasing in stride, laughing along with the TNT crew.
