Connor McDavid's wife Lauren connects with Connor Brown's family during Oilers game at Rogers Place
Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle attended the game against the San Jose Sharks at Rogers Place on Saturday night. Oilers forward Connor Brown’s wife Madison and their son Nolan were also in attendance at the arena.
While watching the game, Lauren met with Madison and Nolan in the gallery. Lauren shared a sweet photo of the moment on Instagram, showing her holding Nolan, who was wearing a sweater from Lauren’s recently launched sports apparel brand, Sports Club Atelier.
Madison Brown later reposted the story on her own account. Lauren also posted updates from the game on her stories, including photos of the gallery view and the massive LED screen inside Rogers Place.
The Oilers managed to beat the Sharks 3-2 in overtime thanks to Leon Draisaitl, who scored just 18 seconds into the extra period. They had a slow start but rallied back with goals from Zach Hyman and Mattias Ekholm.
It was Ekholm who scored a dramatic tying goal with just 18 seconds left in the third period, sending the game into overtime. Connor McDavid racked up three assists on the night, which took his NHL points tally to 1,030.
The Oilers have now won 10 of their last 12 games. Up next, they will host the Ottawa Senators on Sunday.
Connor McDavid’s wife Laren Kyle hosts launch party for her new sports apparel brand
Earlier this Wednesday, Lauren Kyle hosted a grand launch party for her new sports apparel brand, Sports Club Atelier. The event brought together partners of Oilers players, including Leon Draisaitl’s fiancee Leon Draisaitl, Connor Brown’s wife Madison and Evander Kane’s fiancee Mara Teigen, who attended to celebrate and show their support.
Lauren shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram stories, showing the elegant setup and branding. One of the pictures showed a creamy cocktail topped with the brand’s “SCA” logo in cocoa powder alongside stacks of neatly arranged gift boxes.
Vibrantly colored pennants featuring the SCA logo were on display during the party and a merchandise table showed off items such as branded caps, a red sweatshirt with “EDMONTON,” a white varsity jacket, and a catalog titled SCA Yearbook.
Guests enjoyed custom cocktails, including drinks named “SCA Signature” and “Teacher’s Pet,” which were served at a floral-decorated bar. A vintage camera setup was arranged for attendees to take home black-and-white Polaroid strips as keepsakes.
Oilers players’ partners made sure to congratulate Lauren on her new venture. Mara Teigen posted on Instagram, calling the launch “the cutest” and praised Lauren for her efforts. Celeste Desjardins shared a story showing the collection and expressed her excitement for her friend’s success. Madison Brown also shared glimpses of the event and congratulated Lauren.
