"Drink smoothies with you forever": Alex DeBrincat's wife Lyndsey pens heartfelt message on his 27th birthday
Detroit Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat celebrated his 27th birthday on Wednesday, and his wife Lyndsey shared a sweet Instagram post to mark the occasion. Along with a sweet message, she posted a carousel of pictures of special moments from their life together.
One of the pictures showed Alex and Lyndsey attending a concert, while another saw Alex enjoying seafood. The post also included heartwarming images of the family in the Red Wings locker room and some sweet moments at home.
In the caption, Lyndsey wrote:

Alex DeBrincat and Lyndsey Bice got married on July 31, 2021, in a beautiful ceremony in Chicago, Illinois. They first started dating in 2015 and spent nearly six years together before tying the knot.
Lyndsey and Alex are proud parents to two boys. Their first child Archie David was born on May 18, 2022. Earlier in February this year, the couple welcomed their second son, Maverick.
Lyndsey graduated from Hillsdale College with a degree in politics and has experience in event coordination and project management. She’s also worked for companies like BootayBag, a subscription service.
Alex DeBrincat receives special ‘birthday hug’ from son
Alex DeBrincat was also wished by his son Archie in a heartwarming way before the Detroit Red Wings’ game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.
As DeBrincat left the ice after warmups at Little Caesars Arena, his toddler son ran up to him for a big birthday hug. DeBrincat smiled and thanked Archie, who also gave him some high-fives before he headed to the locker room.
Lyndsey also held a homemade sign that said, “Happy Birthday Dada!” in one hand while holding their younger son Maverick in the other. The sweet family moment was captured in a video posted by the NHL’s official X account.
The Detroit Red Wings defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 6-4 at Little Caesars Arena on the night. Patrick Kane scored the game-winning goal in the third period, breaking a 4-4 tie, while Lucas Raymond sealed the win with an empty-net goal.
Alex DeBrincat, J.T. Compher, Michael Rasmussen and Joe Veleno also scored for Detroit. The win marked the Red Wings’ second straight victory at home.
