Evander Kane's fiancee Mara Teigen pens "best father I could ask for my babies" message for beau on Thanksgiving day

Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane’s fiancee, Mara Teigen, shared a glimpse of their family’s Thanksgiving celebration on her Instagram on Thursday. The couple, who are co-parenting their three children—Hendrix, Iverson and Kensington—celebrated the holiday with a cozy family dinner.

Teigen shared a series of pictures and clips on her stories from their evening, writing sweet Thanksgiving messages. In one of the photos, the three children were seen smiling around a beautifully set dining table.

“Soooo thankful 🦃🤎@evanderkane,” she wrote in the caption.

Hendrix, the youngest, was dressed in a beige shirt paired with a gray argyle sweater vest. Kensington, the only daughter, looked adorable in a plaid dress with red, green and yellow tones and two small pigtails tied with bows. Iverson matched his brother in a beige collared shirt and a cream sweater vest.

Teigen shared heartfelt messages for each child and later posted a picture of Evander Kane at the same table with the children. Alongside the photo, she wrote:

“& the best father I could ask for for my babies. And best hubby 🤍🤍 love you @evanderkane #thankful.”

The table was adorned with Thanksgiving staples such as broccoli, carrots, corn, stuffing and brown gravy. Each place setting featured a neatly folded white napkin tied with a green ribbon, surrounded by elegant orange candles and silverware.

Oilers forward Evander Kane took to Instagram to wish his followers a happy Thanksgiving, although he is Canadian and the Canadian Thanksgiving originally falls in October. He shared a heartwarming photo of his three children laughing together at the dinner table, captioning the story:

“Happy US Thanksgiving”

Kane also posted a special tribute to his fiancee, Mara Teigen. The photo featured the couple posing in front of an illuminated decorative installation. Kane wore a suit over a checkered shirt, while Teigen donned an elegant, form-fitting brown dress.

In the caption, Kane expressed his gratitude, writing:

“Thankful you @marateigen.”

The couple, who got engaged earlier this summer, are expecting another child together.

Evander Kane has been sidelined since September after undergoing surgeries to repair two hernias, two abdominal tears and both abductors. While the Oilers hope for his return early next year, Kane has been making the most of his recovery time.

Earlier this month, he attended UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden, sitting in a star-studded celebrity row alongside figures like President-elect Donald Trump and tech mogul Elon Musk.

The event’s main draw featured Jon Jones retaining his heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic with a third-round knockout. Kane shared Instagram stories from the event, including footage of the co-main event between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler, which Oliveira won by unanimous decision.
