Ex-NHLer Mike Commodore berates Ohio's two NFL teams
Former NHLer Mike Commodore has openly criticized Ohio's two NHL teams, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, expressing his strong opinion on social media.
Commodore questioned if it's unreasonable to label Ohio NFL football as poor, using a reference from the movie "Snatch" to express his frustration.
The former NHLer on X implied that the performance of both teams has consistently disappointed fans, suggesting that they repeatedly fail to meet expectations year after year.
"Folks am I out of turn saying Ohio NFL football is trash? To quote one of my fav movies of all time #Snatch..all the Bengals and Browns do is 'Pull my pants down, grease me up, and aim for penetration' year in, and year out."
Both NFL teams based in Ohio faced defeats in their Week 1 matchups. The Bengals fell to the Patriots with a score of 10-16, while the Browns endured a 17-33 loss against the Cowboys.

Mike Commodore was drafted No. 42 overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1999 NHL draft. He played for them for two seasons before donning the jerseys of multiple teams.
During his three-year stint with the Carolina Hurricanes, Commodore won the Stanley Cup in 2006. Apart from the Devils and the Hurricanes, Commodore also played for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings and Tampa Bay Lightning in his 11-year NHL career.
As a defenseman, Mike Commodore accumulated 106 points through 23 goals and 83 assists with a plus-minus of -3.
