In Photos: Boone Jenner and his wife Maggie enjoy European vacation, reuniting with an old friend in Slovakia
Columbus Blue Jackets captain Boone Jenner and his wife Maggie visited Austria and Slovakia during their European vacation. Maggie shared pictures from her visit to different places in Vienna and Bratislava on Instagram.
Maggie first shared a clip of her visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. There, a street performer was playing guitar and singing. Next, she shared a photo of the streets of Bratislava with apartments on both sides of the road. Maggie met her friend after 12 years. She wrote, 'reunited after 12 years.'
Boone Jenner was seen sipping coffee at a local restaurant in Bratislava. Then the couple visited the ancient Devin Castle. There, they spotted sheep grazing on the field near the castle.
By the time it was evening, Boone Jenner was in the company of his eight friends. They posed for a photograph together, with a big glass building in the background.
By the next morning, they were in Vienna. There, they visited the Louis Vuitton store. But that was not the end of their visit; they went to St. Peter's Catholic Church next. In Maggie's last story, Boone is seen standing on the street with a shopping bag in his hand.
Boone Jenner's wife Maggie mourns the loss of Dawson
Boone Jenner and his wife, Maggie, faced a tragic moment in their lives. Their son, Dawson Jenner, was found stillborn in March. He was due next month. Maggie got his leg imprints on mud and shared it on her Instagram.
Along with it, she captioned:
"We are at a loss for words. A pain like no other. Our son, Dawson Jenner was stillborn on March 31st, 2024 🕊️ While this pain is like nothing we’ve experienced before, it’s also shown us the immense love we have to give. As heartbroken as we are, we are incredibly grateful to be his parents and look forward to holding him again one day in heaven."
"We are thankful and feel blessed for the outpouring of love and support from our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy as we navigate this extremely difficult time. 🤍 Love, the Jenners."
Maple Leafs forward Max Domi also reacted to Maggie's post. He said:
"I’m so sorry brother. Love you. Thinking of you and Maggie"
They seem to be using the vacation as a way to get past a tragic event in life.
