In a romantic setting on the ocean-front beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Dallas Stars netminder Jake Oettinger tied the knot with his long-time partner Kennedi Schumacher on June 29, 2024.

In a glamorous fashion choice, Oettinger's wife donned a sumptuous designer outfit by Ines Di Santo with an illusion strapless neckline and high slit for their ocean-front wedding in Cabo San Lucas.

The newlyweds have shared some stunning snaps of the lavish wedding ceremony on Instagram, allowing fans to have a glimpse of the special day that waa full of love and celebration.

"Married my best friend! Thanks to everyone who made it the best week of our life," Oettinger captioned the IG post.

Before tying the knot, Kennedi Schumacher and Jake Oettinger had been in a steady relationship for the past four years, tracing their connection back to childhood.

Born in Lakeville, Minnesota, in 2000, Kennedi celebrates her birthday on June 3. She graduated from Lakeville South High School in 2017 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in financial management from the University of St. Thomas in December 2020 and is a marketing specialist.

Oettinger and Kennedi's love story reached a new milestone in June last year when the Dallas Stars netminder proposed to Kennedi, a moment they shared with the world through a touching Instagram post.

Earlier, teammates of Jake Oettinger, including Mason Marchment, Jamie Benn and Matt Duchene, also exchanged vows, creating a memorable offseason for the Dallas Stars players entering matrimony.

The Stars goalie was attended by his 10-year-old brother serving as best man and a mix of hockey players, all donning Stae and Liberty tuxedos.

It turns out that State and Liberty is the go-to brand for suits for Jake Oettinger, as revealed by the 25-year-old netminder's wife, Kennedi Schumacher.

“This is Jake’s favorite brand of suits, so he knew he wanted the guys to wear them!” says the bride (via Brides.com).

Oettinger was drafted with the 26th overall pick by the Dallas Stars in the 2017 draft. He has been with the club for the past four seasons, posting an 184-113-48 record with 2.51 (GAA) and an SV% of .913.
