Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry's wife, Julie Petry, shared photos from a special week spent with her family and parents on Saturday. She posted pictures of her four sons—Boyd, Barrett, Bowen, and Blake—bonding with their grandparents.

Julie shared a photo of Blake with his grandfather, saying:

“Back to Texas they go. Had the best week with my grandparents here.”

Another picture showed Blake and his grandfather relaxing, with the caption,

“We had slow mornings.”

She also posted a photo of her older kids baking cookies with their grandmother.

“We baked cookies with Honey.”

A video featured Jeff Petry, Boyd, and their grandfather playing baseball, with the message,

“We played baseball & Grandaddy Sir was the ump.”

Julie highlighted Honey’s Sunday roast and mashed potatoes with a picture. The family enjoyed doing puzzles together. A photo of the grandfather in the garden was captioned:

“We stopped and smelled the hydrangeas ... they're starting to turn.”

They celebrated Bowen with ice cream and had a touching moment when Boyd was baptized. Julie wrote,

“The best part of the whole week...we all got to witness Boyd commit his life to Jesus.”

Jeff Petry and his wife Julie's earlier social updates

Jeff Petry and his wife, Julie, celebrated their son Boyd’s ninth birthday on Instagram. The photos showed Boyd with birthday gifts and a cake, with captions like “This is nine” and “Best day celebrating our boy.” The family enjoyed an arcade visit and a baseball game at Comerica Park.

Earlier, the family went to Chicago with their four sons. They visited The Bean, rode the subway, and also met Red Wings forward J.T. Compher. They attended the Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field and went to the Willis Tower Skydeck. The day ended at the beach.
