In Photos: Jeff Petry, wife Jules celebrate son Blake's second birthday with a trip to the zoo
Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jeff Petry and his wife Jules celebrated the second birthday of their youngest son, Blake. They went on a trip to the zoo and also celebrated an animal theme birthday party at home.
Jules Petry shared a series of pictures and clips from their special day. One of the snaps showed Blake riding a turtle figure in a mary-go-round.
“AT THE ZOO,” Jules captioned the picture.
She shared a clip of Blake riding a toy train and smiling back at the camera. One of the pictures showed the animal-themed decor of the party by Stelly Party Decor.
“our big ✌️year old🥳”, she wrote in the caption.
Jules Petry also shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram from her youngest child’s birthday. She wished Blake with an adorable caption:
“Blakey-boo turns TWO 🎈here’s to hoping his scrunchie bulldog face lasts for at least another year 🙏🏼🥹 And yes, we got targeted by an ad for that kids clean car & went for it😆 …you wouldn’t believe how fast that thing goes! 🏎️💨🧽”
Some of young Blake’s friends were at the Petrys’ house, eating donuts with the birthday boy and his bros. Blake’s three brothers, Boyd, Barrett and Bowen, also went to the zoo with their parents.
Jules and Jeff Petry attended Brendan Gallagher's wedding in Montreal
Last week, Jeff Petry’s former teammate Brendan Gallagher tied the knot with his partner Emma Fortin at the Maison Principale Hall in Montreal. Many of Gallagher’s current and former teammates and their partners were in attendance.
Jules and Jeff Petry also attended the series of events leading up to the wedding on Saturday. They got to meet their old friends and their families from his time with the Montreal Candiens.
Jules Petry shared a carousel of pictures from the event, where the ladies dressed up in black evening gowns, while the men sported black tuxedos. In the caption, she wrote:
“From Montreal with love 💌”
They also attended the rehearsal dinner before the wedding along with friends Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Jake Evans,Sam Montembault, Chris Wideman and their families.
Carey Price, Christian Dvorak, Tanner Pearson and Phil Danault were also at the event with their partners.
